Someone bets into you on the flop when you bet/ raised preflop? No reads.
What do you do when someone minimum RAISES you when you have top pair with a okay kicker (a jack) on a really safe looking board? How about a dangerous board? (lots of straight and flush possibilities)
What does it mean to you when someone BETS the minimum on a really safe looking board?

It means they want information on where you stand and to see if they can steal the pot anytime during flop, turn, or river. If they had really gotten a good piece of the flop they would check and let the pre-flop bet/raiser go nuts and that’s how you win money. Otherwise they want you to re-raise if they really do have the flop.
i would call w/top pair jack kicker….if somebody raise my raise b4 the flop, it depends on what kind of hand im holding and how much more the person bet…if i feel lucky i would call…i dont like when people reraise me!
in my opinion, when someone leads into the raiser you can almost completely eliminate the possibility of them just out and out bluffing, they either have a made hand or a draw…it’s a very tough proposition to have the pre-flop raiser have position on you and choose to stone bluff the flop, it’s too tough to try more than once in a blue moon…however, more times than not you will be up against the draw as opposed to the made hand
on a safe looking board, the minraise should set off the warning bells against bad players…for me it means that our opponent has a big hand that he knows probably can’t be drawn out on, so he decides to make the minraise in order to squeeze more value out of us…i would be extremely careful in proceeding once someone minraises a dry board against bad players…however, against good players, i would be more willing to be aggressive, because they won’t just make this play with a big hand every time…a lot of top pros make the minraise on this type of board with a medium-strength hand hoping to find out if their hand is good, at which point we can take the pot away by re-raising…be careful picking your spots making that play though, because they will have the nuts some of the time and have you trapped
if the board is dangerous, then you need to proceed extremely cautiously against bad players, or more advisably just throw it away…bad players will be scared of you having a straight or flush so they will not get involved with you and be trying to bluff this board…good players also won’t get too frisky, but they will be bluffing a little more often, believing that you might have a weak hand and that by making the minraise they can take you off it even though you will be getting laid a good price…but most of the time, no matter what, on dangerous boards minraises scream big hand
when someone bets the minimum, it depends completely on the pot size what it means…if it is blind vs. blind and there isn’t much money in the pot, it could really mean anything, because it’s not really a small bet in relation to the pot size…if it is in a bigger pot that you are talking(and i am assuming you are), it generally means that someone has the nuts or they are trying to buy the pot cheaply…it becomes pretty read dependent, but generally you should proceed cautiously
