texas holdem

The blinds are 30-60 with starting stacks of 2000. We are in Level 4 and I have 6.1K chips. Its a 6-handed multi-table with 78 of 113 left. Im also like 4th in chips. Should i play tight oraggressivee? Im mainly playing just position with medium to good hands. Betting preflop and mainly on the flop, but not much bluffing. What u recommend?
its also a bodog $2500 guarantee for $20+2

The higher the stakes, the more exact the play gets. This is because higher stakes attracts more skilled players.Try different styles of play. It’s good to play tight as a beginner, but when you’re branching out, try being that aggressive freak who everyone knows is bluffing. Learn how other players react to individual styles of play, and how they react when you change from passive to aggressive.Be a *******! Hold ‘Em is ultimately about making money. If you see a leak in someone’s game, exploit it! That player will learn his or her lesson eventually, as we all did. Make them pay to learn that lesson. If you ever start feeling guilty about taking some fool for all he’s worth, remember a time when it happened to you.
Many beginning poker players love this idea of bluffing and often misuse it. The value of the bluff increases under certain general circumstances that often have a lot to do with information you assume about the other players.
Being in late position with a good hand has major strengths over being early with a good hand. Early position raisers are assumed to have a good hand and it tends to scare players away. Early preflop raises can force the other players to call two bets at once (or more in the case of pot limit or no limit hold ‘em) when there is nearly nothing in the pot worth fighting for. In late position, there may be players who have already called one bet. Those players only have to call one bet (in limit) with a little something already in the pot. So players in late position with a good hand have the ability to manipulate the pot size, which will make future bets easier to call in the upcoming betting rounds. Good luck with your game, I hope this was of some use to you.
    Everyone loves a winner ! ;-) Garry

Play tight now. Just wait for the right hand: if you make a mistake now, you are finished.

Some suggest that as a big stack you become the table bully. But I agree with other equally reputable experts on the game that you shouldn’t change your game too much as a big stack. Big stacks buy you time so that you can wait for those premium hands and gobble up the small stacks who are forced to make moves with less than optimal hands. If you do make any changes with a big stack, I wouldn’t do too much more than lowering your raising requirements just a little when in position. Don’t get carried away with the idea that you have to be the table bully or you will give that big stack back very quickly! I think a very subtle and almost imperceptible adjustment is the key.
