No, you can not show your cards when other players are still in the hand. After the hand is over and someone has won the pot then you may show your hand, and you can not show your hand to just 1 or 2 people you need to “show 1 show all” or show everyone the hand.

Hope that helps man, I have been playing Texas hold em my whole life so trust me, It is one of my biggest hobby’s.

No, you shouldn’t show your cards if players are still in the game. It gives them information about what cards are no longer in play, and can give them useful information against other players.

For example, if a guy is waiting for a 5 to complete his straight or something like that, and you fold a 5…. Now he knows he can’t his straight or something like that etc. It changes the course of the game.

No because it gives them more information with which to calculate odds. It is what is called a systematic error though because all the subjects were exposed to the error.

NO, NO, AND NO. You should never show your hand when there still is action at the table. What if your cards are the outs the other guy needs in the hand you just folded, that is not fair to the other players at all. Now after a hand is over you can show your hand all you want, but doing so in a live hand where there still is action is not right. You may be asked to leave if you keep on doing so.
