I never ever 4 bet whether its preflop or postflop. Lets say i have AA on the CO in a 1/2 game 100bb deep. I raise to 7. Villian raises to 24. Even though i am OOP, i will never 4-bet as I just never do it. First of all im not comfortable with putting 1/4.5 of my stack in preflop. Secondly people can easily put me on AA, KK, QQ, or AK. If they are any good they will c/r me on the flop or float me if no face cards come out. I understand the concept, what I do not understand is if the players HAVE to put in the big blind. Lets say the guy with the big blind folds, does the next guy have to put it in to continue. What if the guy with the small blind folds (if that’s allowed) does the guy 2nd left of the dealer have to place the big blind still or just the small? Full details on how this works is appreciated.
